The HSV 04 siphon protection valve is a directly controlled 2/2-way seat valve for EL heating oil, with general technical approval. This valve prevents the "siphoning" of heating oil from oil tanks that are filled higher than the oil burner's tapping point.
When the oil burner pump is switched on, the HSV 04 opens in parallel and also switches off when the burner pump stops.
Key features:
- Blocks the oil supply immediately when the burner is at a standstill
- Prevents the oil tank from leaking in the event of a leak in the suction line or burner
- Safe against overheating even when the open position is blocked (up to 40°C)
